The Product
HorseBit provides elite horse owners and competitive riders access to their horse's vital information by tracking temperature, respiration, and pulse to detect early signs of colic and other related illnesses. Unlike the system of human observation, most commonly used right now, which is highly prone to error as people are unable to watch over their horse 24 hours a day.
The Problem
Colic is the leading causes for death amongst horses. 1 in every 10 horses suffer from a colic related issue. Of those that go into surgery, 32% will not make it. This equates to 64,000 horses dying every year in the U.S. alone.
Our Solution
Our solution can easily be described as a fitbit for horses. Only it is a biosensor implant that tracks temperature, respiration and heart rate. These are all real time information that can be accessed through our easy to use application now on IOS and Android.
Customization
When in need of this service, the first thing we’ll do is a general assessment of the situation. After assessing the extent, we’ll see what can do for each our customers. Please note we employ a case-to-case warranty policy for all our products.

At HorseBit, we aim to provide the first ever micro-chip device to help detect colic related symptoms in your horse. We understand that your horse is like family to you and we aim to keep it that way.
Founded in 2018, our team consists of highly knowledgeable students from the University of Calgary, who have been in your place and understand what a horse means to you.
